ABOUT ME
Garret began his career in 2001 in Michigan, before moving to Los Angeles in 2004. There he tended to the tresses of Hollywood, and styled in photoshoots for movies and fashion. In 2011 he returned to the Midwest, bringing Hollywood glamour back with him to Chicago.
In 2016 Garret became co-owner of Ingmar James Salon with William Reinke in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Garret believes that a haircut or haircolor should be more than just mere maintenance, and that everyone who sits down in his chair should leave feeling like a celebrity!
Haircolor and hair extension services are Garret’s specialty; he is an educator for Schwarzkopf Professional and is certified in Great Lengths hair extensions. He has also been certified by Rusk to perform Thermal Str8, a permanent hair straightening service, and with the Mizani Rhelaxer System.
