Garret is originally from Detroit, Michigan, he moved
to California in 2004 and currently lives in West
Hollywood, CA. Garret has been working in the hair
industry since 2001 and has attended professional
classes with Wella, TIGI, American Crew, L'Oreal,
Mizani and Great Lengths. Garret was certified as
a Master Haircolorist through Wella in June 2005,
and with Great Lengths to perform their hair
extensions in 2006. He has also been certified by
Rusk to perform Thermal Str8, a permanent hair
straightening service, and with the Mizani Rhelaxer
